SECRETARY GENERAL

Hello everyone, my name is Jamie Nicole Patton, and I am so excited and grateful to be serving as your Secretary General for the 37th Carolinas Conference!

I am a senior at UNCC this year, and I am studying Political Science and Philosophy. Understanding the unwritten rules of our society and finding a way to solve issues despite them is what drew me to Model UN and debate in the first place.

Carolinas Conference was my start into the world of Model UN, as it will be and has been for a lot of you. It is a full-circle moment to lead it with an enthusiastic and dedicated staff.

Some things that are super interesting about me are that I have been to 6 continents and 15 countries. I also have a love for anime and murder mysteries!

Now, without further ado, it is my pleasure to introduce you to the 2026 secretarial cabinet.

Ashley Robinson

UNDER SECRETARY GENERAL

Hello everyone. I am a junior at UNC Charlotte, double majoring in Political Science and Communications with a minor in Journalism. I did Model UN for the first time last year, with Carolina's being my first conference, so it holds a special place in my heart. Outside of Model UN, I can be found reading, being a part of other clubs, and watching TV. I am excited to be your Logistics Officer this year.

Verity Morgan

CHIEF OF STAFF

Hi everyone, my name is Verity Morgan, and I will be your Chief of Staff for the 2026 Carolinas Conference. I am the Vice President Internal for the Model UN club for UNC Charlotte. I am a senior, double majoring in Political Science and History. I love all things Marvel, Star Wars, and traveling. I have been doing Model UN for 4 and 1/2 years now and my journey with Model UN actually started at the Carolinas Conference. 

Abhidev Indrasanan

Hello! My name is Abhidev, and I am the current President of Charlotte Model United Nations! I am a Mechanical Engineering major here at UNC Charlotte and have been doing MUN for roughly 5 years now. I hope we can make this an enjoyable experience for y'all!

Kennedy Lee

Director of External Relations

My name is Kennedy Lee, and I am a Senior at UNCC studying Political Science and Latin American Studies. I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I also love going shopping, spending time with my friends, and musicals. I have been in MUN since my freshman year at Charlotte.

Mickey Limlingan

SOCIAL MEDIA & DESIGN DIRECTOR

I am a Junior in Electrical Engineering and minoring in Japanese. I'm also the social chair on UNCCMUN's executive board. I look forward to ensuring that everyone has an enjoyable time at Carolinas!

Matthew Gonzalez

FUNDRAISING DIRECTOR

I am Matthew Gonzalez, a computer science major at UNCC. I have a couple of years in MUN, both in high school and in university, having attended multiple conferences in the past and won one award. I can speak 3 languages, I have a cat named after the queen of France, and I am excited to be a part of the Carolinas Conference team.
